We have been able to reduce effort required to load injection moulds considerably by changing the way we store our moulds.

Earlier we were storing our injection moulds on pellets.

At the time of loading the mould was first loaded part by part on the loading trolley. Then it was loaded on the clamping unit of machine resulting in
Damage to the mould
Time wastage at the time of changeover.

Remedy : we have now redesigned our storage tables and now we store our moulds at the height equal to the clamping unit and the loading trolley is also of same height. Rollers are provided on the storage tables for easier sliding of moulds.

Results : our mould change over time has come down from 4hrs earlier to 2 hrs now.
