In order to satisfy his quest for knowledge Mr. Jain also started making Headlamps for tractors and buses. This Division of Paragon was sold off in 1980 and still supplies headlamps to tractor manufacturers.
Paragon also made quality-welding cables from 1975 till 1987.
Moulding business of Paragon picked up once again when our new Plant in Okhla Industrial Area Delhi was approved by M/s Maruti Udyog Ltd for supply of rubber components.
In order to further upgrade our technology Mr R.L.Jain installed our first injection-moulding machine in 1995. At that time we were the second company in North India to install this machine and sixth company in whole of India. We were the only company without any technical tie-up so absorption of this new technology was a major challenge.
At that time only components that were being made on Injection were bellows and mountings
Paragon was the first company to make wiring harness components on injection in India.
At that time injection moulding machine represented fifty percent of our sales turnover.
